David co-founded and co-managed two successful for-profit, socially conscious consulting firms (Further 2 Development, LLC and Further Opportunity LLC) specializing in providing consumers with fair and sustainable mortgage modification strategies. As one of two managing partners, he has been directly involved in the execution of all loan purchase, loan restructuring and loan liquidation strategies that resulted in providing much needed assistance to families throughout various regions of the United States. On a combined basis, these two organizations purchased nearly $60 million in mortgages to assist struggling families with fair and sustainable restructuring strategies.<\/p>

Rachael Cortez is the Property Management Specialist at Blackstar overseeing all matters relating to the operations of acquired assets prior to mortgage conversion.\u00a0 She interacts on a day-to-day basis with various third-party vendors including insurers, contractors, servicers, and brokers focused on resolving any outstanding matter that requires a response.\u00a0 Rachael also interacts with residents to get an understanding of any concerns and she then works to involve the most appropriate internal or external resources to alleviate these concerns.\u00a0 Prior to Blackstar, Rachael oversaw operations for Home America responsible for ensuring existing and new staff followed the firm\u2019s focus on the most efficient and effective operational procedures.\u00a0 Rachael has extensive experience relating to residential mortgages given the various roles at several mortgage lending firms in southern California.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
